Another huge step for BTR this week; we now sell complete bikes!
BTR-fabrications.com has been under the knife a fair bit recently with all sorts of upgrades, tweaks, features and content being added. Chief among the upgrades is the addition of a fully-built Ranger to our web shop!
Ever since announcing our first demo bike in September 2015 we’ve been working on making complete bikes available through our web shop, and now it’s ready!
Configure and Buy a Complete Ranger
The build is very similar to our demo bike; the Ranger 650B frame featuring our choice of high performance, durable components:
- Marzocchi 350CR, 120mm travel
- Hope headset
- August Wheelworks handbuilt 650B wheels
- Maxxis EXO TR tyres, tubeless with Stans NOTUBES sealant
- Renthal cockpit
- SRAM drivetrain
- Shimano brakes
- Rockshox Reverb
- Fabric saddle with Ti rails
We have upgraded a few components though, namely 180mm discs front and rear, and a Hope headset. You can choose between 3 different tyres; Maxxis High Roller II, Ardent, and DHR II. The bike even comes with a choice of flat or SPD pedals from Shimano!
We have preserved the majority of the frame options, offering 4 sizes, optional custom text on the head badge, optional ISCG05 mount, and an optional bottle cage mount. This opens up the possibility to upgrade or add components to the bike, as well as tailoring the frame to your exact preference.
We’re always working to give the best value possible to our customers, and at £2800 we believe this is not only a great bike, but great value too.

Also new in the BTR-Fabrications.com web shop are spare parts; 12mm rear axles, and our own hand-made replaceable rear mech hangers.
The 12mm rear axles fit all of our frames with 12mm rear dropouts, from 135 x 12 to 157 x 12mm. Just select the size you need!
Mech hangers are also available to suit either our 135 and 150 x 12mm frames, or 142 and 157 x 12mm frames.
Our hoodies and T-shirt prices have been cut following recent demand, and still ship for free in the UK. International shipping prices have been cut massively for soft goods too!

In fact, shipping rates have been cut all over, and are now our cheapest ever by a significant margin! We still ship to most countries, so there’s no reason for you not to own a BTR!
In other news, the Trail Tool is currently sold out. Do not fear, however! We’re already working on the next batch, so we’ll have them back in stock ASAP. In the meantime you can still backorder them too! If you buy 6 or more, a 20% discount will automatically be applied at the checkout.

Other changes behind the scenes include upgraded security, site speed improvements, visual tweaks, clearer frame and clothing sizing, and a fix for the issue which made the main menu appear in the wrong place on devices with smaller screen resolution!
