Pinner Frame
From: £4200.00
There’s only one Pinner left to be made, act fast before it’s too late.
We wanted a full-suspension bike to ride all day on any terrain and never worry about it breaking; a blend of downhill bike strength with trail bike efficiency, with aggressive geometry. We always wished a bike like this existed, so we built the Pinner.

I have enough linkage parts to make one more Pinner. Don’t hesitate!
The Pinner is a single pivot, linkage actuated, steel full-suspension chassis with 130.42mm (650B) or 134.40mm (26″) of travel for riding hard and having fun.
It features an aggressive geometry and very progressive suspension, as well as increased frame strength and stiffness, and reduced weight over its predecessor. Don’t let the short travel fool you – the Pinner will take on any challenge, from DH uplift days to trail centre miles and laps of your local woods. The Pinner is compatible with 140 – 160mm travel forks, allowing you to further tailor the ride to your needs.
The Pinner’s rear suspension uses a linkage system to actuate the shock, which allows us to fine-tune the leverage ratio for aggressive riding with a coil shock. BTR supply a choice of 2 shocks:
- The Cane Creek DBcoil shock is an ideal fit for any rider looking for a reliable and hassle-free shock with excellent performance.
- The Extreme Racing Storia LOK V3 is a high-performance shock featuring technology derived from Extreme’s extensive WRC experience. The Storia delivers the pinnacle of suspension performance in a simple and durable package.
Both shock options will be supplied with 2 rates of coil spring, selected based on your weight and riding style. We’ll also help you through the initial setup of both shocks, so you can just get on with riding your bike.
If you choose to fit your own shock, you should note that the Pinner is intended to work with a coil-sprung shock; this will give the best performance in every situation. If you must fit an air shock you should choose a relatively large volume air spring to avoid excessive spring rate progression. The Pinner needs a 190 x 50mm shock, with M8 x 25.4mm hardware at both ends. Note that some shocks may have clearance issues on the frame – if you’re not sure on fitment, get in touch and we’ll help you out.

Internal Cable Routing
£60/cable
The cables are routed through thin stainless steel guide tubes, which run the full length of each internal portion. Rear brake and derailleur cables run internally through the down tube, then externally on top of the stays on the swing arm. Stealth dropper post cable routing runs internally through the down tube, and directly into the base of the seat tube. The front ends of the cables are sealed to the stainless guide tubes, so that water and dirt cannot enter the frame.

Integrated Seat Clamp
£20
An integrated seat clamp keeps the bike as simple and secure as possible, and complements a dropper seatpost nicely. The clamp requires a 5mm allen key to release and tighten.
